The Prodigy are a British dance act. The Prodigy are one of the most successful groups that produced dance music in the 1990s. The man behind The Prodigy is Liam Howlett (1971). Musically, he is the brains and leader of the group. On stage, he is accompanied by MC Maxim Reality (1967) and singer-dancer Keith Flint (1969-2019). The Prodigy are known for their striking appearance and, thanks to their punk attitude, also reached a rock audience. Well-known songs by the band include Out of Space, Smack My Bitch Up, Breathe, No Good (Start the Dance) and Firestarter.
